A new overwrapping and wrapping machine for packaging VHS, CD, DVD, audio tape, food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industry applications from DMA introduces some important new features which challenge the old ideas of the way overwrappers have to be!
First – Hardly any change parts!! Electronic control of folding street allows quick changes between pack sizes which can be done on a control panel in a few
seconds rather than with a spanner. No long waits to be able to wrap a new size.
Secondly – Electro-pneumatic control with ‘off the shelf’ control components means no expensive cams, easy adjustment of components and, in the unlikely
event of component failure, the ability to source many components from local stockists. (Jenton will maintain a next day spares supply of all major parts).
Thirdly – Simple and robust construction which suits electro-pneumatic control can be much lighter than frames needed for heavy mechanical motions. DMA
overwrappers are much lighter and can be easily moved on wheels around the plant!
